Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in the US for over 40 years. Her most well-known role is for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). The actress began her career as a stage performer in the 1950s, beginning with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. In the 1950s she performed as a stage performer in several Broadway productions before gaining to national prominence with Li'l Abner's debut in 1957. Her album, It's Too Late for Tina the in the same year. Louise was first seen in Hollywood in God's Little Acre, a film released in 1958. She was Griselda the main character of the movie. While an undergraduate in Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The year 1964 saw her signing to CBS and played Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour was able to play between Broadway as well as Hollywood acting as a sombre character opposed her perceived image as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Sanctuary but she also established herself as a successful television director with various series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birth date was 28 August 1965 in Essex. When she was 3, her family moved her to Toronto in Canada where she spent throughout her early years. She settled in Vancouver when she was chosen for the role of Samantha Carter.
