Hayley is an American actress and singer. The most famous of her role includes Erica Goldberg who stars in The Goldbergs, the comedy television show. She considers herself to be a musician first and foremost. Music is her first love she claims; it's something that she started dabbling in since she was only 9 years old. She began training in the field of music professionally at 12 years old. After some experimentation with songwriting, she only recorded her album of covers at the age of fourteen. The rest is history. Orrantia was raised in the USA but is of Hispanic heritage. Although she never lived or spoke Spanish in Mexico, she still feels very proud about her Hispanic culture. In order to maintain it, she has learned Spanish and composed songs using the language. The most famous of these songs is 'Hasta Verte,' which was recorded by her in Spanish. Orrantia was chosen to be an audition for the first season in the summer of the year 2011. Orrantia, who was initially selected by a panel of YouTube videos and got an average of four "yeses," from judges in Seattle during live audition phase. Her initial audition was performing as a solo artist, however in the course of "Hollywood Week" and three other female performers were put in a group to continue the auditions. They were eventually eliminated at the final show.
